Michael A Kwasman, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in September of 1993. He is board certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Internal Medicine. His area of specialization is arrhythmia management, including radio-frequency ablation and pacemaker/AICD implantation. He is a member of Spokane's cardiac transplant committee and has a further interest in heart failure treatment algorithms.
Gerhard H. Muelheims, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in July of 2002 and is a native of Missouri. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Muelheims provides cardiac electrophysiology and anti-arrhythmia management, insertion and maintenance of internal pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as invasive cardiac catheterization and other acute cardiac care.
Michael N. Whisenant, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in August of 2006. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine with additional certifications in cardiac imaging including Adult Echocardiography, TEE, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Whisenant practices full time in Lewiston. His practice includes diagnostic heart catheterizations, implantation and followup of pacemakers, as well as diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
Timothy C. Bishop, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in August, 2001 and is a native of New Mexico. Dr. Bishop is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. His practice includes consultative cardiology, intensive coronary care, invasive diagnostic procedures, cardiac risk assessment and management, as well as echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and research.
Pierre P. Leimgruber, MD, FACC He joined Spokane Cardiology in 1985 and is a a native of Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Leimgruber is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. His special interests include not only coronary artery disease but also the disease of the peripheral arteries such as carotid, renal, abdominal aorta, and leg arteries. He also enjoys general clinical cardiology and has been involved in numerous research projects.
Bryan E. Fuhs, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in 1991 and is a Spokane native. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Fuhs's practice includes consultative cardiology, intensive coronary care, invasive diagnostic procedures, cardiac risk assessment and management, including echocardiography, nuclear imaging, cardiac catheterization, and expert treatment of heart failure.
John G. Peterson, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in 1999 and is a native of Illinois. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Peterson practices general consultative and diagnostic cardiology, including invasive diagnostic catheterization, echocardiography and nuclear cardiac imaging, along with therapeutic interventional procedures such as coronary PTCA and coronary stents.
