Benjamin Rhee, M.D. joined Spokane Cardiology in 2006. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases as well as internal medicine. He received his MD degree from University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School, where he also spent one year training in advanced heart failure. His training included general cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa. He completed his electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Washington. His special interests include treatment of advanced heart failure and all aspects of electrophysiology, including advanced ablation.
Harold R. Goldberg, M.D., F.A.C.C. joined Spokane Cardiology in 1998. He completed cardiology fellowship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center where he subsequently was the Assistant Director of the Cardiac Care Unit. He was also Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Janice D. Christensen, M.D., F.A.C.C. joined Spokane Cardiology in 2001. She is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine, and echocardiography. Her practice includes consultative cardiology, intensive coronary care, invasive diagnostic procedures, cardiac risk assessment and management, as well as echocardiography and nuclear imaging.
John G. Peterson, M.D., F.A.C.C. joined Spokane Cardiology in 1999. Dr. Peterson practices general consultative and diagnostic cardiology, including invasive diagnostic catheterization, echocardiogram and nuclear cardiac imaging, along with therapeutic interventional procedures such as coronary, renal, and peripheral angioplasty and stenting.
Mark J. Pirwitz, MD, FACC joined Spokane Cardiology in 2005. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine. He provided therapeutic interventional procedures such as coronary, renal, and peripheral angioplasty and stenting.
Pierre P. Leimgruber, M.D., F.A.C.C. joined Spokane Cardiology in 1985. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine. He special interests include not only coronary artery disease but also disease of the peripheral arteries such as carotid, renal, abdominal aorta, and leg arteries.
